Reflection by the Executive Director
Welcome to Dayspring Christian Academy. With over 35 years of faithfulness in educating children and youth in Biblical, Christ-centered education, Dayspring continues to serve Christian parents who are seeking to fulfill the Biblical mandate (see Deuteronomy 6, Proverbs 22:6 et. al.) to educate their children in God's truth.
Investment in Relevant Education: Christian education is an investment that pays eternal dividends, and equips students to have a positive impact on their culture here, both now and in the future. Is this just hopeful thinking? Definitely not! I can personally testify to the dividends of a Christian school education. I was enrolled in a Christian school over five decades ago. Who could have foretold in the 1950s the amazing cultural and geo-political changes that this young first grader would face, the positive technological developments and the devastating decline in the culture? Although, in my Christian school education, the academics were rigorous, and that did serve a good purpose, I was equipped to face those challenges and changes, not first and foremost by a superior academic education, but by having all the teaching grounded in Biblical truth. Science textbooks are typically obsolete in less than a decade. But God's truth is always reliable and always relevant.
