Mission
The mission of Dayspring is: Equipping the heart, soul, mind, and body of each student, from a biblical perspective, in partnership with the Christian home . A Christ-centered education will always be a rigorous education, as we are taught in Colossians 3:23, "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men." Academics, music, drama and physical education/athletics are pursued with a passion that is rooted in eternal truth.
Vision : The vision of Dayspring is as apt as it is succinctly stated: Christ-centered Education. An education that is Christ-centered is an education that will always be relevant.
Teachers : The teachers of Dayspring Christian Academy are qualified professionals. Their training and credentials meet the stringent requirements of accreditation. They serve not only as educators, but also as mentors and role models. And, yes, what we do in our personal lives does matter, because we are mentoring impressionable youth. Teachers are motivated and challenged to excel when they read Luke 6:40, "A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher."
Parents : Christian parents, there is no greater challenge or goal than to instill your cherished Biblical faith and values in your children. A couple hours of church and Sunday school, as vitally important as they are, may be overshadowed by the 30+ hours per week of education in a classroom that is not Christ-centered. Sacrifice now to invest in a Christ-centered education for your child. It is an investment that will bear dividends in this life and for eternity. Ephesians 6:1 challenges fathers to, "bring up (their children) in the training and admonition of the Lord."
