    • Q: What does a Guidance Counselor do?
    • A: I am here to assist high school students make decisions about their futures, help them fill out college applications and apply for financial aid, provide information about scholarships, and make sure they are on track to graduate.
    • Q: Does the Guidance Counselor deal with any problems that students might be having?
    • A: Yes. I am available to students who may have difficulty with classes, problems with friends or teachers, or problems outside of school. I am required by law to keep information confidential, unless the information I receive is potentially dangerous to the student or violates school policies, in which case I am required to report to the administration.
