    Elementary Chapel

Dayspring's mission is "Christ-centered education". Chapel is intended to be another way to help us keep our focus on Christ. Elementary school chapels consist of worshipping God in a variety of age-appropriate ways. It often includes activities that help students make connections from the Bible to their own lives. During the weekly chapels elementary students divide up into smaller, age appropriate groups, 3-5 grades and 1st& 2nd grade.

Once a month all elementary students grades preK-5th enjoy a combined chapel, which consists of songs, Bible study, and a modern day connection to the scripture that students can apply in their own lives. Most of the chapels are led by individual teachers with help from the students. Sometimes we have outside speakers. We have some special chapels each year including:

    • Mission's emphasis week in January
    • An elementary wide service project in the spring. (Individual classes also have service projects throughout the year.)

The focus of chapel is to worship God "... in spirit and in truth" John 4:24b
