  • Service Opportunities

Dayspring Christian Academy seeks to instill in its students a generous and giving attitude of service toward others. The school has integrated into its curriculum opportunities locally, nationally, and even internationally for students to help individuals and organizations.

Three notable outreaches within the school year are Operation Christmas Child in the fall, Project Serve in the spring, and the Senior Mission trip during spring break.

Grades 9-12 travel to Denver to work in the Operation Christmas Child processing warehouse to help prepare shoeboxes filled with toys and gifts for children around the world.

In the spring, the high school students in grades 9-11 form small teams of service to individuals in the Greeley community by doing yard work, moving, painting, and other helpful chores. These services benefit businesses, widows, the elderly, the poor, and the infirm.

For a week during spring break the seniors travel to a foreign country to minister and serve alongside an established ministry within that country. This outreach positively impacts the ministry and the people of the country where the seniors go, as well as the seniors themselves.

In addition to these arranged outreaches, the high school students are encouraged to volunteer in helping others on a regular basis as part of their Bible class requirements
